Roberta Faccani
Cantante, attrice, vocal coach, autrice di canzoni di musica leggera e musical, è anche presentatrice e produttrice discografica per la sua etichetta “bandidos records”.
Nelle marche, dirige un corso di formazione artistica per cantanti e performers: “la fabbrica del cantante attore” e svolge numerose masterclass di canto nelle varie scuole italiane.
Diplomata “interprete di musica leggera” al “c.e.t.” di Mogol, arriva seconda al “festival di “castrocaro” nel ’90 e nel ’92 vince il concorso indetto da ivan graziani “quasi quasi un festival”.
Nella sua lunga gavetta, oltre a moltissimi live, collabora come vocalist con artisti come (O.Vanoni, M. Lavezzi, Mogol, P. Turci, A. Celentano, A. Minetti, A. Cooper, T. Houston), incide jingles pubblicitari per tv e radio, appare in molti programmi tra cui “meteore”, nella band del maestro Luca Orioli.
Nel 2000, per sony music con lo pseudonimo di “Mata Faccani” pubblica il suo primo singolo da cantautrice “Rido“ prodotto da Mario Lavezzi e contemporaneamente a teatro, scelta dal maestro Luciano Pavarotti, ricopre per due stagioni il ruolo di “Joanne Jefferson” nel cast originale della versione italiana del pluripremiato musical “Rent“.
Dal 2002 al 2004 interpreta “la mamma di Lucignolo” nel cast originale di “Pinocchio, il grande musical“, (Compagnia della Rancia / Pooh), diretta da Saverio Marconi.
ROBERTA FACCANI
Singer, actress, vocal coach, author of pop music songs and musicals, she is also presenter and record producer for her label “bandidos records”. In the Marche region, she directs an artistic training course for singers and performers: “La Fabbrica del cantante-attore” and she carries out numerous singing masterclasses in various Italian schools.
She graduated as “interpreter of pop music” at the C.E.T. of Mogol, she came second at the Castrocaro festival in 1990 and in 1992 she won the competition organized by Ivan Graziani “Quasi un Festival”.
In her long apprenticeship, in addition to many live shows, she has collaborated as a vocalist with artists such as O.Vanoni, M. Lavezzi, Mogol, P. Turci, A. Celentano, A. Minetti, A. Cooper, T. Houston, recorded advertising jingles for TV and radio, appeared in many programs including “Meteors”, in the band of maestro Luca Orioli. In 2000, for Sony Music with the pseudonym “Mata Faccani” she published her first single as a singer-songwriter, “Rido”, produced by Mario Lavezzi and at the same time in the theater, was chosen by the maestro Luciano Pavarotti, she held the role of “Joanne Jefferson” in the original cast of the Italian version of the award-winning musical “Rent”.
From 2002 to 2004 she played Lucignolo’s mother in the original cast of “Pinocchio, il grande musical”, (Compagnia della Rancia / Pooh), directed by Saverio Marconi
Nel 2004 viene scelta come nuova voce dei “Matia Bazar” con cui restera’ fino al 2010 e con cui nel 2005 partecipa al “Festival di Sanremo” con la canzone “Grido d’amore”. Con la band genovese incide tre albums e gira il mondo per varie tournee.
Dal 2010 al 2012 torna a teatro nel ruolo della “Regina di cuori” in “Alice nel paese delle meraviglie il musical” il musical, diretto da Christian Ginepro.
Dal 2012 inizia un nuovo percorso da solista: con i suoi musicisti, la “mataband”, incide il live “un po’ mat(t)ia, un po’ no… “controtempo live tour 2012“ durante la tournee estiva del 2012 e 2013, omaggio ai grandi successi dei Matia Bazar. Nello stesso periodo esce il suo primo album da solista “Stato di grazia” in cui Roberta mette in luce non solo le sue doti interpretative ma anche quelle autoriali nelle 14 tracce interamente scritte da lei in collaborazione con Giordano Titarelli.
In diretta rai 1 il 2 ottobre 2013 debutta all’ Arena di Verona, nel ruolo di “lady Montecchi” in “Romeo e Giulietta, ama e cambia il mondo“, musical prodotto da David Zard per la regia di Giuliano Peparini (Tre stagioni consecutive per piu di 350 repliche, tour italiano e europeo e quattro repliche all’arena di Verona).
Il 28 novembre 2014 canta in mondovisione in onore di Papa Francesco a San Giovanni in Laterano nella manifestazione “terram in pacis” con l’orchestra diretta dal maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli
Nello stesso anno scrive il brano del ritorno discografico di Fiordaliso “La lupa”.
Roberta ha anche scritto “Lazio generazione”, brano per omaggiare la sua fede calcistica laziale e sopratutto suo prozio Augusto Faccani per 16 anni capitano della squadra e uno dei fondatori.
Nel 2016 esce il brano “Questo amore proibito” nella compilation “Giulietta loves Romeo”, duetto interpretato con Vittorio Matteucci e scritto insieme allo stesso Matteucci e Giordano Tittarelli.
Roberta ha composto il brano “Io mi amo” per la collega di musical Silvia Querci.
Scrive anche “Anahera” e “Tutto è possibile”, i due brani simbolo di “Anahera”.
Collabora con il dj NEROLOZ per la versione remix del brano “IL MONDO CHE VERRÀ” da cui è tratto anche un videoclip. Da anni insegna didattica di canto pop e musical in numerose masterclasses in giro per l’Italia e nella sua scuola “LA FABBRICA DEL CANTANTE ATTORE” e ha aperto l’ etichetta discografica “BANDIDOS RECORDS”.
Con la sua nuova etichetta nel 2017 pubblica il brano “NON SAI IL MIO NOME“, dedicato a una sua personale storia d’amore. Da aprile 2017 e in tour con lo spettacolo “ELETTROTOUR“, accompagnata dalla mataband, in cui Roberta ripercorre le tappe fondamentali della sua carriera dal pop al musical.
Dal 1 luglio 2017 è in tour anche con RENATO ZERO nello spettacolo “ZEROVSKIJ, SOLO PER AMORE“, scritto dallo stesso ZERO con VINCENZO INCENZO, dove canta e recita a fianco del grande artista romano interpretando il doppio ruolo di “MORTE e VITA“.
Prende parte al progetto “AUDIO BAZAR EXPerience” a fianco dei colleghi AUDIO2 e TONY ESPOSITO, in cui i tre artisti ripropongono le canzoni più famose del repertorio Audio2, Esposito e Matia Bazar interagendo fra loro sul palco in due ore di concerto.
Il 10 novembre2017 è uscito il suo terzo album da solista: “MATRIOSKA ITALIANA”(distribuito Universal), che omaggia la musica e gli artisti italiani più famosi in Russia con 11 covers più 3 inediti scritti dalla stessa Faccani tra cui il primo singolo e relativo video dal titolo “L’ALTRA METÀ DI ME”.
A gennaio 2018 è uscito il secondo singolo dal titolo VENTIQUATTRORE e il relativo video e da febbraio è tornata a vestire i panni di lady Montecchi nella nuova edizione di Romeo e Giulietta ama e cambia il mondo di Zard e Peparini.
A marzo 2018 è uscito per il grande schermo il film ZEROVSKIJ solo per amore il docu film di Renato Zero registrato durante una delle due date all’arena di Verona registrato ad agosto 2017. Attualmente Roberta è in tour nelle piazze con due spettacoli diversi: “MATRIOSKA ITALIANA IL TOUR” con la sua band e con l’orchestra “live orchestra” in uno show omaggio alle band storiche italiane.
In 2004 she was chosen as the new voice of Matia Bazar with which she remained until 2010 and with which in 2005 she participated in the Sanremo Festival with the song “Grido d’amore”. With the Genoese band she recorded three albums and traveled the world on various tours.
From 2010 to 2012 she returned to the theater in the role of the Regina di Cuori in “Alice nel pasese delle meraviglie – il musical”, directed by Christian Ginepro. From 2012 he began a new solo path: with his musicians, the “Mataband”, she recorded the live “Un po mat(t)a, un po’ no… controtempo live tour 2012” during the summer of 2012 and 2013, a tribute to the great successes of Matia Bazar. In the same period the first solo album “Stato di grazia” was released in which Roberta highlights not only her interpretative skills but also her authorial skills in the 14 tracks entirely written by her in collaboration with Giordano Titarelli.
Live on Rai 1 on October 2, 2013 she made her debut at the Arena di Verona, in the role of Lady Montecchi in “Romeo e Giulietta, ama e cambia il mondo”, a musical produced by David Zard directed by Giuliano Peparini (three consecutive seasons for more than 350 reruns, Italian and European tours and four reruns at the Arena di Verona). On November 28, 2014 she sang worldwide in honor of Pope Francis in San Giovanni in Laterano in the “Terram in Pacis” event with the orchestra conducted by Maestro Jacopo Sipari from Pescasseroli. In the same year she wrote the song for the return of Fiordaliso “La lupa”.
Roberta also wrote “Lazio Generation”, a song to pay homage to her Lazio football faith and especially to her great-uncle Augusto Faccani who was for 16 years captain of the team and one of the founders. In 2016 the song “Questo amore proibito” was released in the compilation “Giulietta ama Romeo”, a duet interpreted with Vittorio Matteucci and written together with Matteucci himself and Giordano Tittarelli. Roberta composed the song “Io mi amo” for the musical colleague Silvia Querci. You also write “Anahera” and “Tutto è possibile”, the two symbolic songs of “Anahera”.
She collaborated with the Dj Neroloz for the remix version of the song “Il mondo che verrà” from which a video clip was also taken. For years she has been teaching pop singing and musical teaching in numerous masterclasses around Italy and in her school “La Fabbrica del cantante-attore” and founded the record label “Bandidos Records”. With her new label in 2017 she released the song “Non sai il mio nome”, dedicated a personal love story of her. From April 2017 and she was on tour with the show “Elettrotour”, accompanied by the mataband, in which Roberta traced the fundamental stages of her career from pop to musical. From 1 July 2017 she was also on tour with Renato Zero in the show “Zerovskij, solo per amore”, written by Zero himself with Vincenzo Incenso, where she sings and acts alongside the great Roman artist interpreting the double role of “Morte e vita”. She takes part in the “Audio Bazar experience” project alongside her colleagues Audio2 and Tony Esposito, in which the three artists reproduced the most famous songs of the Audio2 repertoire, Esposito and Matia Bazar interacting with each other on stage in two hours of concert.
On 10 November 2017 her third solo album was released: “Matrioska italiana” (distributed by Universal), which pays homage to the most famous Italian music and artists in Russia with 11 covers plus 3 unreleased songs written by Faccani herself, including the first single and relative video entitled “L’altra metà di me”.
In January 2018 the second single entitled Ventiquattrore and the relative video was released and from February she returned to play the role of Lady Montecchi in the new edition of “Romeo e Giuliatta, ama e cambia il mondo”by Zard and Peparini. In March 2018 the film “Zerovskij, solo per amore”, the docu-film by Renato Zero, recorded during one of the two dates at the Arena di Verona in August 2017, was released on the big screen. Currently Roberta is on tour in the squares with two different shows: “Matrioska italiana, il tour” with her band and with the live orchestra in a show homage to Italian historical bands.
